What is the Mindsight Crime subscription?

Mindsight is our quarterly book-only crime, mystery, dark academia, and thriller subscription.

Launched in 2026, Mindsight Crime offers an exclusively-customised hardback edition of a new or upcoming crime or mystery title each quarter. We feature both new and established authors from within the crime and mystery genres, and our picks may be digitally or hand-signed by the author, or include a signed bookplate.

Mindsight ships once every quarter -- in each of March, June, September, and December.

Our featured books for Mindsight Crime are intended for adult audiences and can include:

• Murders and mysteries;
• Heists and escapes;
• Clever twists and double-crosses;
• Bookish crimes;
• Dark academia;
• Gothic mysteries;
• Cosy crimes and sleuths;
• Con artists and dangerous liaisons;
• Vanishing acts and disappearances;
• Midnight meetings;
• ... and more!

We announce our Mindsight Crime themes approximately a month in advance, with any applicable content warnings, so you can decide whether you would like to receive it or skip the month.
