Our costs for new subscriptions will change in October 2026. If you are an active subscriber at the time of the change, with no subscription cancellations since, then your subscription rates remain the same. We call this legacy pricing.

What happens if I cancel my subscription in the future but then want to resubscribe?
If you cancel your current subscription, your access to legacy pricing will end and you will need to resubscribe at the new pricing.
Can I still skip?
Yes, you can still skip, in line with our Skip Limit Policy, without affecting your legacy pricing.
What happens if I switch my subscription?
If you switch your subscription (to/from Illumicrate Fantasy full box, book-only, or Illumicrate + Afterlight Book Combo; or to/from Afterlight Romance and Illumicrate + Afterlight Book Combo), without a cancellation in your subscription, then this will not affect your legacy pricing.
What if I take out a new subscription?
Should existing active subscribers start a new subscription of a different genre this would not be eligible for legacy pricing, and will be billed according our new subscription prices.
