When are subscription themes announced?

We announce the themes for our subscription boxes approximately a month in advance of renewals, so that you have time to decide whether you wish to receive or skip the book. For example: 

• The themes for our January Afterlight Romance or Illumicrate Fantasy subscriptions will be announced at the start of December.
• The theme for our March Mindsight subscription will be announced at the start of February.
• The theme for our July Evernight Horror subscription will be announced at the start of June. 
• The theme for our November Starbright subscription will be announced at the start of October.
  

Alongside each theme, we will give a brief summary about the featured book. We will include information about its customisations, any representations within the story, and any applicable content warnings. 

For the Illumicrate full box subscription, we will also reveal some hints about the items included with that month's theme. We share our theme announcements on our social media channels and our website.
