Who is eligible for presale access?

We regularly offer a number of Exclusive Editions alongside our subscriptions, and announce these via our newsletter and social media channels. We always release these with a subscribers-only presale first and then, if the title has not sold out during this period, it enters general sale for anyone to purchase via the Illumishop. 

If you are an active subscriber at the time of a presale, then you are eligible for presale access according to the genre of your subscription(s). 

Active subscribers are eligible for presale access of Exclusive Editions as follows: 

• Illumicrate Fantasy subscribers are eligible for Illumicrate Exclusives, Collections, and Archives. 
• Afterlight Romance subscribers are eligible for Afterlight Exclusives. 
• Evernight Horror subscribers are eligible for Evernight Exclusives.
• Starbright Science Fiction subscribers are eligible for Starbright Exclusives.

10th Anniversary Exclusive Editions

All active subscribers are eligible for presale access across all the 10th Anniversary Exclusive Editions during 2025. 

Sequels to Exclusive Editions

If you have previously purchased an Exclusive Edition and its sequel has been announced, then you will also be eligible for presale access of that title. Please note that this is only valid if it is stated in the product announcement that previous purchasers are eligible.

What if I skip a month/theme in my subscription? Will I still have presale access?
Yes. Skipping a month doesn't affect presale access eligibility, provided you are an active subscriber at the time of the presale.
