Do I need a subscription to buy from the Illumishop?

However, some items will not be available to purchase by the general public in the following situations: 

Presales

If a book or set is currently within its presale window, then this will appear as a password-protected listing in the Illumishop. Only subscribers and, in the case of sequel titles, purchasers of previous books in the series, will be able to purchase this item during this window. 

If the book or set does not sell out during presale, then it will move to general sale and be available to purchase by the general public. 

If the book or set sells out during presale, no general sale will occur. 

Please keep an eye on our social media for updates as to whether a title goes on general sale. 

Password-Protected Listings

Sometimes, we list previous books or subscription products in the Illumishop with a requirement for a password at the point of purchase. These listings are usually for customers who have experienced an error with their original order. 

In this situation, these items will not be available to purchase by the general public, and, if you email Support to request the password and don't meet the criteria for this item, we unfortunately cannot provide this. 

Subscriptions 

When our subscriptions are full, we run a waitlist system for anyone interested in subscribing, so that they receive an invite via email when spots are available. When this is in place, the listings for our subscriptions will show a "Join the Waitlist" button instead of the option to purchase.
