When you were offered a spot from the waitlist, that email would have included what month your subscription is starting with. You will have been charged for that month when you first subscribed. Our subscriptions renew on the 1st of the month for that current month (ie January renewals are 1st January) so determining what month you were offered guides when you'll next be charged. For example:
You subscribed on 27th April, you are offered a spot for May. Your subscription wont then renew on 1st May, because you paid for May when you subscribed on 27th April. Your subscription will therefore renew on 1st June.
If you have a 3 or 6 month subscription you were charged for the full 3 or 6 months when you subscribed, and your subscription will then renew again after that renewal is up.
Our renewal date is the 1st of each month. Our full renewal period is the 1 - 5th of each month, and during this window your subscription will automatically retry your renewal payment each day if it has failed. We ship our subscription products usually at the very end of each month, so May's box & book only orders will ship at the end of May, and so on. Depending on when you subscribe there may be a bit of a longer wait for your box. For example, if you subscribe in early May for June's box, that will ship at the end of June so there will be a little bit of a wait. It's worth it, we promise :)

Our UK orders ship via Royal Mail. Tracking information is emailed out to you by our fulfilment centre the day after orders ship. Shipping generally takes 2 working days.
International orders ship via our international shipping company. They ship in batches over several days, and you are emailed tracking when your order ships. You can also always find your own tracking for all shipments by going to: https://www.trackyourparcel.eu and filling out your country, order number, and postal/zip code. You can find your order number in your Illumicrate account
Skipping, switching and cancelling
You are able skip a month any time yourself in your account as long as you have a monthly subscription, please check our FAQ for details of how to do this! If you have a 3 or 6 month subscription you will need to contact our support team for assistance.
Please note that we do not have a skip limit, however, if a subscriber has not received a box in 10 months or more, we do reserve the right to cancel their subscription at our discretion.
You are also able to cancel your subscription any time, but you would then need to rejoin the waitlist to resubscribe, so we do recommend taking advantage of the skipping feature for any boxes you do not wish to receive.
Subscribers can request we switch their subscription to the full box or book only by filling out our customer support form. We may not always have availability for the month you want to switch for, in which case we can add you to the list of people waiting. If you have a 3 or 6 month subscription, we will only be able to switch you for when your subscription is next due to renew.
